The math curriculum is Math In Focus. Much of the math is taught through a hands-on, discovery method in which students learn and work in small groups, whole group, or individually using a variety instructional strategies, math manipulatives, interactive notebooks, technology, and games to come to understand larger math concepts as well as skills. We typically have a follow-up practice worksheet after each session that represents only a portion of what was actually done in class.
